Our bodies are in a constant state of renewal. Spring calls for even more action to oxygenate our bodies. But how can we help our bodies gain in energy and oxygenation? To improve oxygenation in your body, here are 3 points to act on!
- I breathe
- I release
- I bring myself
1-Breath more consciously
Breathing, letting yourself breathe, getting back to walking… these natural abilities, sometimes lost in the rhythm of our daily lives, can be maintained by simple gestures. Even if breathing is normal, our bodies don’t always receive enough oxygen. It needs to breathe deeply. How can we do this?
- Conscious, deep breathing brings even more oxygen and energy into the body in a short space of time. All our organs feed on this energy to revitalize themselves.
- Breathing in the fresh air (30 minutes of fresh air a day works wonders).
- Accelerated breathing during sports optimizes cellular oxygenation and encourages the expulsion of emptied air.

2-Free yourself from tension
- It’s very beneficial to get moving and organize an hour’s walk a day, spread out over the day. Take the stairs more often rather than the elevator. Try Nordic walking. Now that we’ve become too sedentary, we need to re-learn mobility for our health and well-being. Running is not recommended for back problems. In this case, afghani walking is more advisable.
- Exercise at your own pace and several times a week
- Body-psychological practices such as sophrology positively maintain the health of our body, emotions and mind. Sophrology is one of these practices, which both brings calm to the body AND frees us from the tensions of everyday life. How does it work? By, among other things, dynamic relaxation, a relaxation which helps you to relax your body, mind and spirit, while giving them what they need: to expel negative tensions, to fill yourself with energizing positive energy, to reinforce your confidence, joy, health and capacities.
DO YOU KNOW?
Sophrology is an excellent ally for mental preparation: it offers mental and muscular relaxation practices, combined with positive programming techniques: this makes it easier to project yourself towards the success of your objective, thanks to detailed and complete preparation.
3-Provide a diet adapted to the season
Our bodies need to be properly oxygenated, but many factors in our daily lives have an impact on reducing the amount of air we breathe, including pollution, stress, illness, poor ventilation in the home and a lack of nature….
So airing your living space every day for 5 minutes is the most effective way of renewing the air in your rooms without cooling down your home.
To help our bodies regain energy, it’s important to restore vitality and tone:
- Foods to focus on: Pulses, whole grains and whole or semi-complete cereals for a diet that provides the right energy, improves endurance and muscle recovery, while promoting satiety.
- Prefer organic and fresh foods, which are more nutritious.
- Stay hydrated: as temperatures rise, it becomes increasingly important to stay hydrated. Herbal teas and infused water can add variety to our hydration habits.
- Support digestion: plants such as milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion and boldo are all known for their digestive activity.
- Re-learn how to smell: open your nose wide and inhale the aromas of a flower, an essential oil, a tasty dish or a good wine in moderation.
Try sophrology, adopt it and practice it with ease. Individual or group sessions!
