Stress

Stress is a physiological response that is triggered by the body when it is faced with a state of disturbance, whether it be a real danger or a physical or psychological threat.

Each individual has his or her own tolerance threshold and stressors (exams, loss of work, lack of confidence, family breakdown, illness,…).

Anxiety

Anxiety is the anticipation of a future threat. It is accompanied by an unpleasant feeling of apprehension, muscle tension and alertness.

It is a common emotion that anyone can experience and it usually dissipates quickly. It is not necessarily negative, as it can improve physical and intellectual performance. But when it persists, it can become overwhelming.

Burnout

Excessive stress over a long period of time, accompanied by severe fatigue or intense emotions, can lead to physical exhaustion (=burn out). Lack of rest and ample time for recovery result in a burn out: combination of mental, physical and emotional exhaustion. The origin of this burnout can be diverse.

I am committed to offer each and everyone of you support tailored to your own needs, depending on the urgency, the intensity and discomfort you experience due to your daily life stressors.

These techniques will give you more control over the following:
Your emotions: fear, anger, disappointment, fatigue
Your cognitive skills: concentration, memory, coordination, attention span
Relationships: refocusing on one's well-being to be able to open up to others
Stress, anxiety attacks, phobias
Those techniques also have the potentiel to make your treatments for more serious diseases more efficient

One-to-one sessions

Although the sessions are adapted to your personal needs, challenges, source of stress and your own history… the support is based on the same logic.

The first session is dedicated to the discovery and installation of a climate of trust between you and me. This is essential for the rest of the work we will do together. At each session, we discuss your well-being and then work TOGETHER on tyour goals.

Depending on the challenges, and the urgency, one or more techniques will be offered and used during the session.

Different methods are used to address these effects depending on the degree of urgency…

Group sessions

Sessions will be organised during the year with a limited number of participants depending on the location (outdoors, at my office, in nature). It is also possible to create a group session on request.

Many themes can be addressed included but not limited to: stress, fatigue, letting go, energy…

During a group wellness session, we share a special moment that allows us to connect to ourselves, to achieve a better body and mind balance, to feel this new energy and to take advantage of the group to enhance  its effects even more. For more information, contact me.
